You should not need to build Jacquard in order to install it. However,
if you want to do so, you should

(i) 	edit Make-local-dependencies
(ii) 	type 'make clean; make'
(iii)	type 'make install'

If you merely want to install the supplied jar files, just

(i) 	edit Make-local-dependencies
(iii)	type make install

At some stage we'll produce a downloadable version of Apache Jigsaw
with Jacquard installed.
